It is definitely a worthwhile course to follow for anyone involved in the manufacturing process. It is useful to understand smart manufacturing and how it is implemented. I feel that all manufacturing professionals should at least acquaint themselves with the knowledge of smart manufacturing, even if they are not going to implement smart manufacturing strategies immediately. At lease exposure to this kind of course helps them prepare.
