Network and Infrastructure experts in this TalentCloud should be able to provide technical support for infrastructure development and services. Desired expertise includes planning and designing of networks, and also the ability to define, order, and monitor installation and integration of hardware in the network.
Responsibilities
- Maintain security programs and protocols regarding firewalls, VPNs, email, and web protocols, as well as switches and servers
- Provide operational and sales support in a variety of capacities.
- Implement detection systems for intrusions, bad actors, and the network security SOP
- Perform preventative actions against malfunctions and threats through the analysis and implementation of evolving security protocols
- Resolve hardware and security issues each day
- Examine existing technology and systems and adopt necessary future technologies
- Track scripts for vulnerabilities and possible threats
- Manage overall server architecture, LAN, and WLAN in correlation to organizational policy
- Investigate security breaches, log all security incidents and concerns, and track performance
- Analyze and report all security findings and hardware and software status updates
- Collaborate with individuals in various departments on critical network and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and monitor authentication and authorization protocols, regulatory systems, perimeter security, web security gateways, endpoint security, and network access controls
- Recommend changes to areas impacting IT security, such as regulatory, technical, and legal areas
- Develop, implement, test, and evaluate audit review processes and procedures
Required Skills
- Experience working with enterprise firewalls, domain expertise, and network protection
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptability in practices, methodologies, services, devices, and more
- Problem-solve complex network and infrastructure issues and areas of concern
- Use of various network tools, such as Cisco, Fortinet, Unix, Windows, SIEM, IDS/IPS, LAN/WAN, others
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and work in a team environment
