ML engineers should be experts in the A to Z of data science projects including data sourcing, web scraping, ETL, model development, model testing, and deployment in production environments.
Required Skills
- Proficient in server software such as Python, Java, REST, SQL, NoSQL, and Ruby
- Expert in machine learning models
- Hands-on DevOps Experience
- Experience with supporting data science development environments
- Have a solid understanding of development and deployment standards
- Ability to work in a complex environment that involves liaison with multiple teams
- Experience with Scrum framework
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Spark and Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Hive, MapReduce, Spark, and Sqoop
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure
- Comfortable working independently
- Familiarity with version control, especially Git/GitHub
- Experience with building APIs

Preferred Skills
- Graduate degree in Computer Science/ engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working as an ML engineer
