Project Description

We are a start-up in the Auto Insurance space. We are looking for a robust modules to help us classify, segment, and price our personal auto insurance risks with confidence. The modules should provide output we can use as stand-alone analytics.

We have no data since we are a start-up. However, we think we can leverage on some government data.

The main goal is to use personal data found on social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, GPA, University attended, SAT score, career path and income to assess a consumer’s Insurance risk other than their credit scores and zip code. We believe online reputation and/or professional connections are factors that should be considered when extending credit or auto insurance coverage, especially to someone with a scant or spotty credit history who might otherwise have trouble getting a loan or auto insurance coverage.
